GREENSBOROUGH STAFF

DARREN JONES

Managing Director

After completing his schooling at Eltham College, Darren commenced his real estate career in the Rental Department of his uncles Real Estate office in Footscray for three years.

After then traveling around Australia with friends for a year, be began working locally for a real estate agent in Eltham before opening his own Greensborough office in 1991. Nine years later, he expanded his business to include a South Morang office which has been managed since its inception by Wayne Millership.

With strong ties to the area, through local football and playing cricket for Montmorency Cricket Club, Darren is also a keen motor cycle rider and lives with his wife Mandy and two children, Max and Jessie MOBILE: 0425 717 111.

ASHLEY CROALL

Sales Manager

Born and bred locally in Bundoora, Ashley was schooled at Parade College along with his brother Jason.

During his school years, he was unsure of his desired career path, so started off with Davenport selling boxer shorts. Twelve years ago, this path veered from the retail industry of selling smalls to a higher flying career in real estate. It was at this stage he joined Darren Jones Real Estate, and twelve years on, he is still here.

After marrying his sweetheart Mandy in 2005, he purchased a home in Bundoora, which they are slowing renovating. Working in real estate doesn’t free up a lot of spare time to do such things, but he has assured Mandy that things will happen!

When he does take a few days off at a time, depending on the time of year, he enjoys venturing out on to the slopes for a snow ski, or heading up to Eildon to do some waterskiing. MOBILE: 0417 522 941

GORDON ARMIT

Sales Consultant

With a communications background, Gordon commenced his career in real estate with Darren in 1993.

An avid Collingwood supporter and A Grade golfer, his weekends and days off are filled with trips to the MCG and Rosanna Golf Course. A black and white win along with a double birdie can bring out the best in this sports mad bloke, however don’t ring up to make an inspection on Monday morning if the tables are turned!

Gordon has lived in the area with wife Janine since 1992 and enjoys keeping the local restaurant trade thriving. MOBILE: 0407 801 979.

STEVE THOMSON

Sales Consultant

Born and raised in NSW, Steve moved to Melbourne in 2000, where he has lived locally in Montmorency with wife Mandy since. In September 2007 they welcomed baby daughter Emma.

Steve ventured into Retail following his schooling, in which he obtained 10 years sales experience prior to him commencing his real estate career with Darren in 2002.

He is passionate about the Carlton Football Club, and enjoys fishing and playing dad to Emma. MOBILE: 0402 445 414

DANIEL LEIBOWITZ

Sales Consultant

Daniel grew up in Lower Templestowe and finished his schooling at Melbourne High School.

He has moved back to Melbourne with Wife Donna and daughter Erica after spending past 4 years managing holiday resorts in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland. He has a passion for Travelling , which has included Africa, Thailand, China, Turkey, England, Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, and North America as well as most of Australia.

Recently in preparation to become a father he trained and completed an Olympic distance triathlon.

He is passionate about scuba diving , but lately he enjoys spending his free time with Erica who has just turned one. MOBILE: 0428 812 636

INGRID ELLIOTT

Senior Property Manager

AUNJEET LEGAH

Property Manager

Aunjeet joined the Property Management Department at Darren Jones in July 2009. She recently returned to Melbourne after traveling extensively and living in the UK for 16 years where she worked in Property Management for the last 5 years. Prior to leaving Australia, she obtained a degree in psychology at the University of Adelaide. Due to her qualifications and travels, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Aunjeet is married with two children. In her spare time she enjoys going to the theatre, movies, reading, traveling and attending her children’s various activities.

MANDY JONES

Administration

Mandy worked in property management for 15 years prior to taking time off to raise her young family, whilst keeping her finger on the pulse by working a couple of days a week on general office administration.

With a love of traveling and entertaining, if her house is not empty due to a trip away, it is full of people enjoying themselves!

She is a passionate Essendon supporter who also spends her time helping with her son’s junior football club.

LYNNE LAWSON

Customer Service

With a background in Marketing, Lynne worked in Event Management at Saab Automobile for 11 years, prior to taking time off to have her second child in 2004. With a new baby and a four year old, the decision not to work full time was an appealing one, so it was "goodbye to Saab".

Lynne commenced working with Darren in early 2005, and currently works on marketing projects two days a week.

She is also a qualified swim teacher, working part time at the Northcote Aquatic Centre where she enjoys teaching pre-school and school age children.

CONNIE WILLIAMS

Sales Secretary

Connie joined Darren in September 2006, initially relieving in a maternity leave position as the role of Sales Secretary. After 12 months, this position became permanent.

After completing her schooling at Loyola, she joined the family owned Fire Protection Business prior to taking off to Queensland in search of the sun.

Connie worked as a receptionist in a Real Estate office for a couple of years before heading back to "four seasons in a day Melbourne" in 2003.

She became a mum to Emily in March 2006, and with her partner Michael, enjoys watching AFL football and V8 car racing.

To relax (whilst Emily sleeps) she enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

CRYSTAL WHELAN

Receptionist

Crystal joined our Greensborough office as receptionist and administration assistant after gaining experience working on temporary assignments at Eltham and Eaglemont real estate offices. She lives in Eltham and enjoys reading, traveling, dining out and going to the beach. Crystal is engaged Alex and plans to walk down the aisle at the end of 2010.

 

 

SOUTH MORANG STAFF

WAYNE MILLERSHIP

Managing Director, South Morang Office

Wayne commenced in real estate in 1996, working for Darren Jones in the Greensborough office. After quickly realising that real estate was his chosen career, he went on to obtain his Real Estate License and Auctioneers License.

With the move to open a second office in South Morang, Darren had to look no further for a manager, and Wayne took the reigns when the office opened at 11 Gorge Road in April 2000.

Now in 2008, that office has proven too small, so Wayne is in the final stages of opening a new Darren Jones Real Estate office at 17 Gorge Road.

Wayne is married to Jacqui, and together they have two daughters Ellie and Isabelle.

Away from his hectic work and family life, Wayne enjoys motor bike riding, going to the beach, water skiing and playing basketball. MOBILE: 0425 707 080

BRETT SPARKS

Sales Manager

Brett commenced his real estate career in 1999, joining Darren Jones two years later in 2001.

Living in Watsonia, Brett married Kylie in July 2007.

Outside of work, Brett enjoys playing basketball and following the Geelong Football Club. He aims to one day take off on a traveling safari of Africa. MOBILE: 0411 131 938

JARROD MAZYRKO

Sales Consultant

An energetic and passionate addition to the industry, Jarrod lives and breathes real estate.

A staunch advocate of the benefits of living in Melbourne’s north east, Jarrod has lived in the Northern suburbs all his life and is unmatched at showcasing the unique qualities that will make the discerning buyer choose South Morang and its surrounds.

TOM O'CONNELL

Sales Consultant

Tom commenced his real estate career in the Property Management department of a city company for two years before venturing into the sales side of things with Darren Jones Real Estate 18 months ago. Since joining Wayne at the South Morang office, Tom has broadened his knowledge of the Whittlesea area and become an asset to the sales team. Tom’s interests include cars, traveling, snow boarding, skate boarding and has been known to entertain a few friends with the guitar.

KATE SKIPPER

Receptionist

Kate lives in Montmorency, and was schooled at Our Lady’s in Heidelberg. After leaving school she joined a Children’s Scholarhip company in Hawthorn, where she stayed for 8 years until joining our South Morang Office as receptionist in October 2007. She loves watching and playing all sorts of sports, however her number one hobby at the moment is playing poker.
